The Fredericton Power & Sail Squadron serves South Western New Brunswick. The beautiful Saint John River runs through the middle of Fredericton and serves as an entry point into the Bay of Fundy. Many tributaries such as the Oromocoto River, Grand Lake, Washadamoak Lake, Bellisle Bay and Grand Bay are all easily accessed through the Saint John River. Above the Mactaquac Dam the river runs for miles past the communities of Nackawic and Woodstock. Based out of Fredericton the squadron serves the region from the City of Woodstock and the Town of Nackawic down through to Mactaquac Provincial Park and Marina. Fredericton Power and Sail Squadron members live in the Grand Lake, Oromocto, Fredericton, Mactaquac, Nackawic and Woodstock. |

| Brief History The Fredericton Power & Sail Squadron was established in 1963 and served specifically the Fredericton local area. The Squadron has grown from its original charter members to over 260 members in 2001, expanding in both size and geographic area. |
